Flower planning this wedding was as calm as it could be; maybe because we have the best Couple to work with. Trusted us from the moment we met.
Fast forward on the wedding day, the weather condition turned from calm to storm; an actual freaky storm. With no power, unbearable wind and rain storm that hit the Lower Mainland, we continued to strive and realize this Ever After. A Ceremony that was only filled with happy tears; and of course, the Couple had continued to say their “I Do’s”. At Reception, there was no music in the background, speeches were delivered by a microphone over a generator: still with no power, the space was only filled with so much love for the two by their families and friends.
As they headed up to the Stage to say their Thank You speech, a loud announcement came from somewhere. There, the power came back. The rest, you have to see the cinematography that was beautifully captured by Jomari Dumalas of FLIP Vision Productions. Just be cautioned, keep a box of Kleenex near you.
One would only start to tear and in great shock…. the forever belief that love would prevail took place…. “angels must have been watching over them”.
An exceptional Ever After that we have the pleasure and proud to have been a part of.
Many blessings to you, Bobby and Jason. If you were able to withstand this calm before the “storm”, deep in our hearts you both can always “weather any storm”. With a cupcake on one hand and a pinot gris on the other. Happiest life to the most admirable and bravest Couple we know.
“Where do I begin to thank the amazing team of Roa Floral & Event Designs? They are true professionals in every aspect. CC and the Team, materialized our dreams and vision. While putting in their signature touch of class, elegance and artistry; through floral art they conveyed the emotions of our special day, in a way that will be remembered forever. The hotel manager even said herself that she has never seen a ceremony and a reception that beautiful in their venue before. She hopes to use The Roa team as their first choice, when helping set up weddings at their hotel. Our theme of “old Manila” in pink, was executed in such a stunning way that we were absolutely speechless and in awe. From the European style lamp posts, the flowers, capiz shell chandeliers and abanico fans, the Roa team delivered beyond expectations. From the bottom of our hearts thank you!! We love you Ate Cec! – J&B”
